Legacy

We come from a legacy where care was communal and wisdom was passed down through story, not silence. Our ancestors nurtured one another in village circles, preserving knowledge through generations—until trauma taught us to guard our truths to protect our children. But silence has a cost. While Black women’s bodies were exploited to build modern medicine, our needs remain unseen—especially beyond childbearing. Menopause, a vital chapter in a woman’s life, is too often ignored in research, care, and conversation. Now is the time to break that silence, to reclaim our stories, and to chart our own path toward wellness, vitality, and wholeness.
